Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie

Drinks

Looking for a sweet treat that will keep you hydrated, energized and happy? This Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie from my friends at Green Blender tastes even better than it sounds! I’m super excited to share this guest recipe with you :)

Both pear and avocado are excellent fruits for natural skin hydration (thanks to vitamin C, potassium, and healthy Omega-3s), whereas peanut butter and cacao provide healthy fat, protein, antioxidants, and iron — all essential ingredients for natural energy production. Add in a banana for potassium and electrolytes, and dates for natural sweetness, and you’ve got a high fiber, high protein treat that will keep you feeling invigorated without any unwanted sugar crashes.

We use an avocado including the pit with 2 hand fulls of fresh spinach, almond milk, spirulina, water, and a few drops of stevia to make 2 mid day snacks. Must have a vitamix to use the pit. Sometimes we add another super food such as Hemp seeds.

Hi Mark, I've never included the avocado pit before. I know it's really high in nutrients so I'll have to try it!
